On a whim my wife and I were walking by and saw their sign. We both thought to get a pie (and two cookies as a bonus). Amazing. The treats were delicious! We will definitely be coming back for more. Their hospitality was great as well!

I struggle to find the words to describe my love for Shampa's Pies; they're a charming, family-owned bakery, both of which are factors that are clear in the delicious pies they bake. Every time I stop by their Outer Sunset farmer's market stall, I'm greeted with a smile and kind conversation. As a passionate citrus fan, their lemon chess pie takes the cake for me; a perfect balance of tart and sweet. They also excel in the autumnal classics like apple, pumpkin, and pecan. I'm also a huge fan of the different sizes, a mini pie or hand pie is perfect for on-the-go or just for one, and their larger sizes are perfect for a family gathering over the holidays; my family and I know Shampa's to be the perfect place to get a delicious pumpkin pie. All in all, Shampa's is definitely one of my favorite Bay Area bakery spots of all time, and if you're ever in the Pacifica area or passing by their stall at the farmer's market, be sure to grab yourself a delicious treat made with love.

I am writing to share my fond memories of pastry chef Haruwn Wesley and Shampa's Pies. I first met Haruwn at the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival in 2012 when my newborn daughter was just a few weeks old. I was in the mood for some delicious pie and stumbled upon his stand. The pie I tried was a blueberry cream cheese creation that was simply otherworldly. It was smooth as silk, rich, dreamy, and full of flavor. I could tell that Haruwn was a passionate businessman who truly believed in his product, and his enthusiasm shone through in his sales pitch. From that day on, I made a point of seeking out his stand at other local festivals. Sadly, Haruwn has since passed away, but I am thrilled to hear that his family is carrying on the legacy of Shampa's pies. I miss the joy he brought to the art of selling delicious treats and the pleasure of indulging in his creations. His memory will always be cherished by those of us lucky enough to have tasted his pies. As Pi day approaches on March 14th, I cannot help but feel joyful for the memories that Haruwn's pies bring back to me. I will always treasure the experiences I had with his incredible creations. Rest in Power King! Sincerely, JboogieX
